The Office of the Legislative Assembly of Tonga continues the momentum of its public awareness programs for the upcoming Tonga Youth Parliament 2021 (28 – 29 October) and Tonga Women Parliament 2021 (1 – 2 November).

The Office Legislative Assembly of Tonga wishes to clarify that not all of the 22 Acts that were passed by Parliament in its 2021 session have been submitted to His Majesty, King Tupou VI, in order to seek His Majesty’s consideration for Royal Assent.

THE Lord Speaker of Parliament today officially opened the ‘She Leads Fale Alea’ ‘o Tonga 2021 hosted by the Legislative Assembly of Tonga in partnership with Take The Lead Tonga. This event coincided with the commemoration of International Day of the Girl, held annually on October 11.

Applications for the upcoming Tonga Youth Parliament (TYP) 2021 and Tonga Women Parliament (TWP) will close this Friday, October 15 at 4:30pm.
