FOUR candidates have been confirmed to vie for Vava’u 14 vacant electoral seat in Parliament in the by-election in March.

LORD Speaker, Lord Fakafanua and  Members of Parliament joined family and loved ones in paying homage to former Member of Parliament, late Lord Fusitu’a during a farewell memorial service at the Centenary Church, Nuku’alofa yesterday.

MEMBERS of the Legislative Assembly observed a one minute of silence yesterday in remembrance of the former Member of Parliament, late Lord Fusitu’a who passed away in Auckland at the weekend.

Hon. Dr. Siale ‘Akau’ola ne new Minister of Health took his oath as a Member of Parliament yesterday Monday 12th of February 13, 2024. The newest legislator swore his allegiance to perform his utmost best, obey the King and to abide by the Constitution for the good of Tonga.
