Hon. Tangipa is the current Nobles Representative for the Niuas

PARLIAMENT HISTORY

• Elected as Nobles Representative for the Niuas in 2005

• Member of the Standing Committee on Legislation since 2005

• Was the Nobles Representative in the Special Parliamentary National Committee of the Kingdom of Tonga on Political Reform in 2006

OTHER WORK HISTORY

• Member of the Niua Development Committee 2005 to present

• Worked in the Construction Industry for many years in both New Zealand and Australia before returning to Tonga to pursue a career in politics

PARLIAMENTARY VISITS 2006

• Travelled in the National Committee throughout the Kingdom in gathering submissions from the public for political reform
• Part of the Parliament of Tonga Official Delegation to China 2007
