Mr. Teisina Fuko was re-elected in the 2008 General Election as the Number 2 Peoples' Representative of the Ha'apai Group. He has been a Member of Parliament for the same constituency for 3 consecutive terms. Mr. Fuko is a one of the founding members of the Peoples' Democratic Party.
He is a member of the Parliament Standing Committee on Finance and a member of the Tonga Parliamentary Group on Population and Development. Mr. Fuko in many occasions has represented the Parliament of Tonga to Parliamentary Official Meetings abroad.
