For each of the last 2 years, the Tonga National Youth Congress has organized a Youth Parliament which takes place in parliament house. The main purpose of these Youth Parliaments is to generate awareness and educate the youths of Tonga to the internal workings of parliament. It is a forum where young people can present, discuss and debate their ideas on contemporary issues that directly affect their lives.
