The delegation from the New Zealand Parliament led by the Deputy Prime Minister, Hon. Carmel Sepuloni visited the Legislative Assembly of Tonga yesterday evening.

The Chief Clerk of the House, Gloria Pole'o and the Deputy Clerk, Dr. Sione Vikilani greeted Hon. Sepuloni and her delegation at the Tonga Parliament House in Nuku’alofa.

During the visit, Pole’o acknowledged the long-standing inter-parliament relationships between Tonga and New Zealand.

A tour of the Parliament chamber was conducted for the esteemed delegation.

Deputy Clerk of the House also briefed the delegation on the composition of Parliament.

The delegation is currently in Tonga as part of Pacific Mission 2023.

New Zealand Deputy Prime Minister and her delegation will leave Tonga today.
