Her Royal Highness Princess Latufuipeka Tuku’aho today officially opened the Tonga Women’s Parliament 2021. In Her Royal Highness’s remarks, which was delivered virtually, she highlighted the need for more women participation in politics.

The New Zealand Speaker of the House of Representatives the Rt Hon Trevor Mallard thanked Speakers from the Pacific that participated in the conference including the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Tonga Lord Fakafanua for their contribution during the discussions.
