OVER 60,400 voters have registered to vote in the November general election.

This is the register roll as of September 16, 2021.

The Supervisor of Elections Pita Vuki says the voter registration has increased by 1,411 in comparison to the final roll for the 2017 election.

Of the 60,414 eligible voters, about 49% are male and 51% are female.

The age group between 31 - 40 records the highest registration with 15,823 registered voters in the age group, followed by voters in the 41 - 50 and 21 - 30 age ranges, respectively.

Meanwhile registration is open until 3rd November, for those who have just turned 18, as well as individuals who have yet to register.

The final roll will be published on November 4, two weeks before the November 18 election.

Eligible persons aged 21 years and above are encouraged to register to vote; as every vote matters.
