The Legislative Assembly of Tonga has officially launched its 2025 Parliamentary Constituency Visit Program, with Members of Parliament beginning preparations to engage directly with their constituents over the coming weeks.

The program commenced this week in Haʻapai, where Hon. Veivosa Taka, MP for Haʻapai 13, held consultations with town officers to finalize his visitation schedule.

In Tongatapu, Hon. Kapelieli Lanumata, MP for Tongatapu 10, met with town and district officers on Tuesday. His community meetings are scheduled to begin on 21 July.

Hon. Mateni Tapueluelu, MP for Tongatapu 4, will start his round of constituency meetings on Monday, 7 July, continuing through to 22 July.

Several other MPs are also expected to begin their visits next week, including Hon. Piveni Piukala (Tongatapu 7), Hon. Moʻale Finau (Haʻapai 12), and Dr. Viliami Latu (Vavaʻu 16).

The annual visit program provides an important platform for MPs to meet face-to-face with constituents, discuss key issues, share updates on national developments, and gather community feedback to guide their work in Parliament.
