Parliament to Officially Close Tomorrow, Thursday, October 23

The Legislative Assembly of Tonga will formally close tomorrow, Thursday, October 23, with a soft closing ceremony, marking the end of the 2021–2025 parliamentary term.

Three Nobles of the Realm: Lord Tu‘iha‘ateiho, Lord Ve‘ehala, and Lord Luani will deliver the address from the Throne. They will preside over the ceremony, which comes ahead of the general election scheduled for next month.
