Parliamentary Select Committee Meets to Finalize Response to King’s Address

The Parliamentary Select Committee responsible for drafting the official reply to His Majesty King Tupou VI’s Address met today in the Legislative Assembly Conference Room.

Following the King’s Address at the opening of the 2025 Parliamentary Session last Friday, Speaker Lord Fakafanua named nine Member's of Parliament to prepare Parliament’s formal reply.

The committee’s report is expected to be tabled in Parliament when the House reconvene tomorrow, Wednesday, May 28 at 10:00 AM.
