THE Legislative Assembly today held the last three sessions of public hearings on the Employment Relations Bill 2020.

The public hearings provided opportunities for stakeholders and the public to voice their opinions on the Bill.

Members of the civil society, district, and town officers participated in the morning session.

Representatives from the Tonga Chinese Business Federation participated in the 2 pm-4 pm session.

The final session of the day was attended by Church leaders and those working for Church organisations.

If enacted, it will cover the employer and the employee in a workplace including Government and non-Government organisations, non-Government schools, churches, or religious organizations and there are exceptions.
