This week, the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) proudly celebrates the 16th anniversary of its Annual Law Week, focusing on the theme "Law Making Processes". This theme highlights the processes, procedures and collaboration that shapes law making in Tonga. Yearly, Law Week has served as a space to bring greater public awareness to a variety of legal issues the AGO thought was worth exploring.

JUDICIAL REVIEW NOTICE IN RESPECT OF VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE PROCEEDINGS
Lord Fakafanua led a delegation from the Parliament of Tonga to the Global Parliamentary Forum that was held in Marrakech, Morocco on 9 October 2023. The delegation included Lord Tu’iha’angana (Deputy Speaker of Parliament) and Hon. Dr ‘Aisake Eke (Chairman of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts).
Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Lord Fakafanua represented Tonga at the Thirtieth Annual International Law and Religion Symposium that was hosted by the Brigham Young University School of Law, at BYU University Provo, Utah from 1 to 3 October.
